I have a problem with registration in Co-Mail. What should I do?

Carefully check the way you fill in the "Username", "Enter password" and "Re-Enter" fields. Username in the "Username" field must begin with a letter, and contain only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), the underscore (_), dot (.), dash (-), and no spaces. It must be at least four characters long. If you see a "Ticket Expired" message when registering a new user, please press the "New User" button in the upper menu of the administrative interface.

Do I have to send my secret key to people I am in correspondence with when I register for a Co-Mail account?

You do not have to exchange secret keys with your partners. Encryption and decryption procedures are carried out by Co-Mail automatically.

I can not enter my box: the password I used during registration does not work. What should I do?

The most frequent reason of this problem is trying to enter a password in uppercase letters. This is often the case when the Caps Lock key is accidentally pressed (test and TEST are different passwords). When entering the password pay attention to the keyboard layout (English or another language) and, if necessary, switch to the English, and mind the Caps Lock key. If you still face the problem try to switch to the other keyboard layout and enter the password the way you remember it. You can also try to enter the password with Caps Lock on. If nothing works, you will have to register a new account: Co-Mail passwords are not stored anywhere and can not be restored.

How can I use the on-screen keyboard to enter my password when accessing my box via web-interface?

Just double click in the "Password" field to initiate a virtual keyboard. The keyboard prevents malefactors from intercepting the password if a PC has a "keyboard spy" installed on it. A layout of the keyboard changes automatically every time you enter your account.

What happens if I lose or forget my password?

We strongly advise that you never lose or forget your password. For security reasons, Co-Mail does not store user passwords. So, technically it is impossible to restore your password if you lose or forget it. The only option is to set up a new Co-Mail account. Please note that the old account correspondence will be lost. Ask your Co-Mail administrator for help to set up a new Co-Mail account.

Is there any way to change my username?

The only way to change your Co-Mail username is to delete an old account and set up a new one. Your Co-Mail administer will need to assist you in this.
